Become part of a leading European food processing company dedicated to supporting farmers, boosting rural economies, and supplying sustainable, high-quality food. We are currently seeking Evening Hygiene Operatives to join our energetic group at the factory in Sawley, near Gisburn.
Role Overview
Your main responsibility will be to ensure the factory, especially production areas, are thoroughly cleaned and meet strict hygiene standards prior to production commencing. This includes performing routine and deep cleaning tasks, maintaining surfaces, equipment, and facilities to meet regulatory requirements.
Working Hours
The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM.
Candidate Profile
We seek individuals who work well in teams, take pride in quality, follow protocols carefully, and communicate effectively. Previous hygiene experience is advantageous but not mandatory as full training will be provided. Candidates must be comfortable working in a meat processing environment during non-production hours.
Main Responsibilities
- Properly use and monitor cleaning chemicals.
- Dismantle machinery to enable full cleaning access.
- Operate pressure washers to remove grease and debris.
- Restock hygiene stations with soap, sanitizers, paper towels, and bin liners.
