Role overview
We are looking for an Estimator to support project bidding and cost planning for commercial construction work in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will turn project proposals and historical cost information into accurate estimates and bid strategies that help win new business.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in bid meetings and help shape an effective bidding approach.
- Create detailed and punctual cost analyses for project opportunities.
- Review project proposals and build budget and cost estimates from them.
- Collect, refresh, and assess historical cost data to improve estimate accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience, in Construction Management or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience estimating projects or having relevant engineering experience.
- Comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in the commercial general contracting sector.
- Experience bidding on projects in the $1 million to $30 million range.
