Assistant Project Manager

Role overview

This opening is for a Construction Assistant Project Manager based in Palm Beach County, Florida. What you will do

• Support the Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and day-to-day execution from launch through completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project participants to keep communication clear and the work aligned.
• Track progress against milestones and prepare updates on project performance indicators.
• Keep project records organized, including contracts, change orders, budgets, and schedules.
• Help manage on-site coordination so that safety rules and quality standards are followed.
• Assist in identifying construction issues and help drive timely, practical solutions.
• Contribute to budget monitoring and resource control to support cost-effective delivery.
• Visit project sites to review progress and confirm work matches specifications.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Between 1 and 5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar position.
• A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and workflows.
• Comfort using MS Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stay effective under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Awareness of construction safety regulations and industry best practices.
