Job Overview

Join our team as an Equity Analyst focused primarily on China markets, with responsibilities that may shift based on your expertise. You will conduct thorough research, develop financial models, and generate investment recommendations backed by detailed reports explaining investment theses. Additional tasks include ESG analysis, regular reporting, database maintenance, marketing support, and assistance with trade preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth research and financial modeling to inform investment ideas and compose comprehensive research reports with full financial details.
• Focus coverage predominantly on China, with the potential for adjustments based on the candidate's background.
• Evaluate companies' ESG performance and prepare related reports.
• Produce daily and weekly market updates alongside monthly reports.
• Maintain and update relevant financial databases.
• Assist in marketing efforts by preparing presentation materials.
• Support trade preparation processes.
• Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a closely related discipline.
• Between two and five years of experience in advisory roles or equity research is preferred; fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Bloomberg terminal usage.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, along with knowledge of various valuation methods.
• Analytical thinker who is proactive, able to work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous.
