Epic Systems Integration Analyst

Overview

This permanent position, starting mid-to-late August, involves supporting and enhancing healthcare IT integration by managing interfaces between Epic EMR systems and third-party applications for a major health organization. The role requires residence in specified approved states within Eastern or Central time zones, providing remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee existing interfaces in development, testing, and production environments.
• Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) protocols throughout new integration project phases.
• Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for interface deployments.
• Create and apply methods for interface error handling to maintain system dependability.
• Contribute to Epic system upgrade initiatives as an active team member.
• Collaborate with senior developers and architects to understand business requirements and provide suitable technical interface solutions.
• Produce thorough documentation including requirement specifications and training materials.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation approximately four times annually.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience working with HL7, XML, and FHIR interfaces.
• Active Epic Bridges certification with at least three years of currency and maintenance.
• Three or more years proficient with interface engines such as Cloverleaf, Corepoint, or equivalents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science and Technology or related discipline.
• Capacity to operate during Eastern or Central time zone hours, residing within approved states.

Preferred Experience

• Certifications in Cloverleaf or Corepoint.
• Background in device integration.
• Experience within hospital or healthcare system environments.
• Proactive team player with strong collaborative skills and self-motivation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from 90000 to 100000 USD.
