Environmental Services Technician

Position Overview

Pana Community Hospital is looking for a committed Environmental Services Technician to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment that fosters excellent patient care and infection control.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position with evening shifts either from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM or 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, including rotating weekends.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $15.50 to $20.15, depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and various hospital departments.
• Collect and properly dispose of waste materials.
• Restock necessary supplies.
• Maintain a sanitary environment to support quality patient care and infection prevention.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
