Overview
Hiredbuddy is inviting applications for an Entry-Level Data Analyst to join their expanding analytics team remotely. This role provides an excellent chance for recent graduates or professionals early in their career to develop foundational skills in data analysis by working closely with diverse business units to transform raw data into meaningful insights enhancing operational efficiency and product development.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare large datasets aggregated from multiple sources ensuring data integrity and uniformity using Excel and SQL for ETL processes.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends and anomalies and apply fundamental statistical techniques to support business decision-making.
- Develop clear, insightful visualizations and interactive dashboards using platforms such as Tableau or Power BI, regularly reporting key performance indicators to stakeholders through easily understandable narratives.
- Collaborate effectively with senior analysts, marketing, and product teams to identify data requirements and align metrics and reports with strategic business objectives.
- Respond swiftly to ad hoc data inquiries from management, delivering accurate insights within tight deadlines.
- Engage actively in continuous learning to stay current with evolving analytics technologies and best practices, contributing to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related discipline.
- Up to two years experience in data analysis roles, including internships.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with meticulous attention to accuracy.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- Basic SQL skills ideal for querying and extracting data.
- Effective communication skills to translate technical data insights for non-technical audiences.
- Capability to work independently within a remote setting, exhibiting self-motivation and time management.
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.
