Role Overview

This part-time position for a junior Data Analyst at AM Consultoria de Inglês is based in Melbourne, Victoria, and blends on-site presence with remote work. The core responsibility involves gathering, cleaning, and organizing diverse datasets from both internal and external sources. The analyst will perform fundamental data analyses to assist in strategic business decisions and support client projects.

They will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and visual representations to effectively communicate insights to colleagues and stakeholders. Daily activities include applying statistical techniques to interpret trends, aiding in the creation and upkeep of straightforward data models, and collaborating closely with team members to clarify needs and present results in an understandable manner. Additionally, the role requires documenting all analytical methods, ensuring high data integrity, and engaging in ongoing education to improve skills and adopt new analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical aptitude and foundational skills in data analytics for data interpretation and insight extraction.
• Basic understanding of statistics to support hypothesis testing, trend assessment, and measuring performance.
• Developing competence in data modeling to assist in organizing data for reporting and analysis.
• Clear communication abilities to convey analytical outcomes to non-technical audiences and work well in a collaborative team setting.
