Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Release Engineering Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position demands a professional with extensive experience in enterprise IT and release management, capable of leading complex release processes across large-scale, multi-application environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong consulting skills, executive-level communication, and technical expertise in both traditional and modern delivery frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise release management operations, including establishing release management functions from inception.
  • Oversee and coordinate releases within geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Present solutions and articulate complex enterprise challenges to CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Manage releases in environments utilizing Agile, DevOps, and traditional project delivery methodologies.

Technical Expertise Required

  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise release management practices and DevSecOps principles.
  • Design and management of CI/CD pipelines, change and configuration management processes.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (notably Git), release automation, and deployment orchestration techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, container platforms, feature flags, deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary deployments, and rollback mechanisms.
  • Expertise in tools such as ServiceNow Change Management, Jira, artifact repository managers like Nexus and Artifactory, and observability platforms.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as ITIL 4 Foundation or Managing Professional, SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), PMP or PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Agile certifications.
  • Credentials in Azure DevOps, AWS, OCI, or DevOps Institute preferred.

Additional Information

Experience working in regulated sectors such as banking, financial services, or insurance is highly desirable.
