About the Role

Orcapod Consulting Services is looking for an Embedded Engineer to work from Bengaluru on Android and Linux-based system software. Candidates should bring strong hands-on experience with C/C++, kernel and device driver work, Android HAL, and related porting and debugging tasks.

What You’ll Work On

  • Develop and support kernel device drivers, including serial peripheral drivers such as I2C and SPI.
  • Move code across kernel versions and handle related porting work.
  • Debug issues in Linux and Android environments using a practical, tool-driven approach.
  • Support Android OS upgrades, including init scripts and device configuration tied to the kernel.
  • Work on Android HAL, device-driver porting, and Android system software changes.
