Role overview

This position is for an electrician supporting IT and infrastructure environments in Pune. The work focuses on electrical installation, low-voltage cabling, UPS support, server room wiring, fault finding, and adherence to electrical safety standards.

Core responsibilities

• Install conduits, cable trays, and structured cabling such as Cat6, fiber optic lines, and CCTV cable for network infrastructure.
• Set up, connect, and maintain UPS systems that safeguard servers and related equipment.
• Carry out dedicated wiring for datacenter and server room needs, including power circuits and grounding for IT racks and cooling units.
• Use testing tools like multimeters, meggers, and similar instruments to locate faults, voltage drops, and connectivity problems.
• Work in line with building regulations and electrical safety standards to reduce the risk of fires, shocks, and equipment damage.

Requirements and qualifications

• Education should be 10th, 12th, or ITI certified in Wireman or Electrician trade.
• Candidates should have hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance, ideally in corporate campuses or technology parks.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation layouts is important.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with cable laying and low-voltage systems are required.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary in the range of INR 12,000 to INR 15,000.
