Role Overview

As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting children with special needs, aiming to enhance their developmental progress and reduce the occurrence of secondary disabilities. This role requires dedication to fostering growth and providing tailored educational interventions for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom sessions accommodating the varied needs of young children.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching methods as necessary to suit learners' requirements.
• Apply positive reinforcement and behavioral management techniques effectively.
• Develop and document Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and term progress reports for students.
• Incorporate specialized educational strategies within lessons.
• Set clear lesson objectives and communicate them with students.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate daily records of student performance.
• Utilize diverse instructional approaches to facilitate learning.
• Engage with parents and guardians to review children's progress, understand their priorities, and address resource needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Level 2 Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Degree/Diploma in Special Education (Special Needs Early Intervention).
• Have a minimum of two years teaching experience within the Special Education field.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
