Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site DGCA-certified Drone Pilot position in Andhra Pradesh. The role supports drone-based precision agriculture operations by flying UAVs for spraying and related field assignments. The pilot will be responsible for safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations, as well as accurate record-keeping and coordination with field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drones/UAVs for agricultural spraying and other field activities.
- Carry out pre-flight checks and confirm the equipment is ready for safe use.
- Plan flight routes and mission paths based on site requirements.
- Monitor drone performance during operations and respond to any issues.
- Maintain complete records for every flight and field assignment.
- Work closely with field staff and farmers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide basic guidance and training on drone use and safety when required.
- Escalate technical problems, safety risks, or operational concerns without delay.
- Follow all company rules and regulatory safety standards during field work.
- Support data collection activities and help improve drone operating processes in the region.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in DGCA-certified drone piloting is required.
- Practical experience operating drones or UAVs in field environments is important.
- Working knowledge of drone systems, basic troubleshooting, maintenance checks, and safe handling is needed.
- Ability to train or guide field staff and farmers on drone usage and safety basics is expected.
- A valid DGCA drone pilot certification or license is mandatory.
- Interest in agriculture and comfort working with farming communities will be an advantage.
- Must be willing to work on-site in field conditions and travel within Andhra Pradesh as needed.
- Strong compliance mindset and careful adherence to safety procedures are necessary.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail in documentation are important.
- Comfort using mobile or web-based operational tools is required.
- Experience in aviation, robotics, remote sensing, or agritech operations will be a plus.

This role is based in Andhra Pradesh. The hiring locations mentioned are West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Chittoor, and Anantapur.

Compensation
Salary is in the range of 15,000 to 20,000, along with incentives.
