Driver/Tour Guide

About the Role

Rainbow Tourism Group invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Driver Tour Guide at Heritage Expeditions Africa. This is a permanent full-time job based primarily in Victoria Falls Municipality, Matabeleland North Province, Zimbabwe, with duties also in Harare.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and arrange tours tailored to guests' interests.
• Provide safe and timely guest transportation services.
• Serve as a cultural liaison by educating visitors on local heritage.
• Introduce tourists to notable attractions including historical sites, botanical gardens, museums, and art galleries.
• Deliver engaging commentary and insights to enhance guests' experience of the country’s social, cultural, and historical landmarks.
• Ensure upkeep and cleanliness of vehicles, including timely servicing.
• Promote the company to prospective clients to boost business.
• Guarantee guest safety during transfers and tours.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a comparable tour guide or driver role.
• Holder of a valid tour guiding certification.
• Possession of a clean Class 1 or Class 2 driver’s license including retest clearance.
• PSV license compliance for Class 2 license holders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of major tourist destinations within the country is advantageous.

Additional Information

The successful applicants will report directly to the Logistics Manager. The role supports operations in key locations such as Harare and Victoria Falls. The job category is Operations.
