Driver/Messenger

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Driver/Messenger to join our team at Hamad International Airport in Doha. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and punctual transport of documents, mails, small packages, and personnel between various destinations within Qatar Airways and external companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate different vehicles to transport documents, mails, small packages, and staff to designated locations.
• Adhere to a consistent schedule for picking up and delivering inter-office and external documents and mails.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is well-maintained, timely report any repair or maintenance needs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness to meet corporate hygiene standards.
• Collect mail promptly from the post office and assist with sorting.
• Deliver documents accurately to the intended departments or personnel within the Qatar Airways Group.
• Update daily logs recording documents delivered and received to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum high school education with at least two years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of a valid Qatari Driver's License is mandatory.
• Strong driving capabilities and good knowledge of city roads and traffic rules.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Basic literacy and numeracy competencies.
