Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Driver Operator to join our team in Gisborne. This role involves hands-on operation of plant and equipment, emphasizing safety, teamwork, and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently to support daily production activities
- Perform pre-start inspections of machinery
- Assist with routine servicing and maintenance tasks
- Complete all required operational documentation accurately
- Collaborate closely with crew members and site leadership to ensure safe and high-quality project delivery
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Holder of a current Class 5 Driver Licence with experience towing truck and trailer combinations
- Prior experience operating excavators is an advantage
- Strong dedication to health, safety, and adherence to Zero Harm policies
- Able to conduct routine plant inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Capable of working efficiently on one’s own and within a team setting
- Dependable, flexible, and ready to engage in practical, hands-on duties
