Document Reviewer

Role overview

This remote contract position is focused on supporting the training of advanced AI systems by reviewing and validating real-world documents and data. The work contributes directly to how models learn, reason, and produce outputs through careful, high-quality input handling.

What you'll do

• Go through large sets of both structured and unstructured information, checking that the content is complete and correct.
• Spot and report concerns tied to data accuracy, consistency, and any privacy exposure involving personally identifiable information (PII).
• Classify, annotate, and when needed remove sensitive details to meet privacy and compliance expectations.
• Work within defined rules, naming systems, and process flows for categorizing and validating data.
• Carry out quality assurance checks to confirm that records are reliable and outputs are accurate.
• Keep clear logs of the documents reviewed and the actions taken so work remains traceable.
• Coordinate with the client team and communicate findings and suggestions clearly in both written and spoken form.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on background in document review, auditing, annotation, redaction, or large-scale data classification.
• Strong focus and a consistently high level of accuracy, especially in repetitive work.
• Working knowledge of how to handle and safeguard PII.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for documenting outcomes and sharing updates with teammates.
• Comfort working with detailed instructions and structured taxonomies.
• Experience with QA or validation activities across large data sets.
• Ability to stay efficient without losing precision while working remotely.

Preferred background

• Experience in legal, compliance, privacy, auditing, or information security settings.
• Exposure to AI or machine learning data projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with collaboration software and digital workflow tools is helpful.
