Supply Chain Director

Role overview

AMPall Co., Ltd. is hiring a remote Supply Chain Director based in the United States to lead end-to-end supply chain operations. The position focuses on building supply chain strategy, strengthening procurement and supplier performance, improving inventory control, coordinating logistics, and streamlining operations so the business can scale smoothly.

Experience in medical devices, medical manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or a similar field is a strong advantage.

Core responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running and long-term planning of the supply chain function.
• Design and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company growth goals.
• Manage procurement, supplier relationships, inventory control, and logistics activities.
• Build, assess, and maintain a reliable network of global suppliers.
• Improve supply chain workflows to raise efficiency and lower operating costs.
• Create supply and demand plans that support consistent product availability.
• Track stock levels, refine inventory mix, and reduce inventory-related risk.
• Work closely with procurement, production, quality, operations, and sales teams.
• Study market changes and supply chain risks and put mitigation plans in place.
• Lead supply chain digitization and process improvement initiatives.
• Support hiring, capability building, and performance management within the supply chain team.
• Handle additional duties related to the role as assigned by the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams.
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain, procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers and negotiate effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• Ability to independently lead projects and deliver outcomes.
• Comfortable using office software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.

Preferred background

• Experience with international supply chain operations or global supplier management.
• Background in medical device, medical manufacturing, or electronics manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to supply chain optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and supply chain management tools.
• Strong contract management and business negotiation skills.
• Experience working across departments and managing projects.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in team development and performance management.
• Solid skills in data analysis and risk management.
• Knowledge of international logistics, import/export processes, and supply chain compliance.
