Position Overview

Merrill Gardens, a family-owned senior living community, is seeking a Dishwasher for their Madison, AL location. This role involves maintaining cleanliness of dishware and assisting in meal preparation, contributing to the welcoming and hygienic atmosphere valued in senior care environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash all kitchen dishware and support cooks during meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Perform cleaning tasks daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure the kitchen and related areas meet health and safety standards.
• Manage food handling, storage, and sanitation duties in strict compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements and Physical Demands

• Possession of a valid Food Handler’s Permit as mandated.
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of frequent standing, walking, and manual labor, including lifting items up to 50 pounds, with regular bending and reaching movements.
• Willingness to receive reasonable accommodations to perform essential job functions if needed.
