Position Overview

DwyerOmega is seeking an accomplished Global Logistics Director with extensive international experience to lead the design, enhancement, and governance of its worldwide logistics network. This high-profile leadership role is accountable for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and sustainable movement of products across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions, supporting the company's strategic global growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the global logistics strategy covering North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• Architect and refine international logistics networks to enhance service quality, shorten lead times, and decrease overall logistics expenses.
• Oversee global freight procurement operations across multiple transport modes, including parcel, LTL, FTL, air, and ocean freight.
• Develop robust logistics systems to ensure business continuity amid geopolitical challenges, port blockages, natural calamities, carrier failures, and other supply chain disturbances.
• Lead sustainability efforts by driving emissions reduction programs, optimizing modal choices, and managing logistics Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting.
• Manage strategic partnerships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, third-party logistics providers, and global carriers.
• Guide and cultivate a high-performance international logistics team.
• Produce executive-level reports on logistics metrics, risk exposure, compliance status, and strategic projects.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Proven leadership managing complex international logistics across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• Expertise in customs compliance, trade regulations, and managing cross-border supply chains.
• Successful background in freight procurement leadership, carrier negotiations, and executing logistics transformation strategies.
• Experience in navigating complex supply chain disruptions and constructing resilient logistics frameworks.
• Strong commercial insight managing freight budgets, logistics expenditures, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with global cross-functional teams and senior executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields; advanced qualifications are a plus.

Additional Details

This pivotal position requires the candidate to serve as the principal logistics liaison on customs and trade compliance, partnering closely with Legal and Trade Compliance teams to ensure full global operational adherence to applicable regulations.
