Director - Development Financial Analysis

This major role involves steering financial evaluations and project investment assessments to support the company’s ambitious development goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive financial planning and analysis efforts for all development ventures, including overseeing financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Perform detailed feasibility studies to evaluate the economic viability of proposed projects.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to compile accurate and relevant financial data to inform planning.
• Produce thorough financial reports and presentations to assist senior leadership in strategic decision-making.
• Identify potential financial risks relevant to development projects and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Improve financial processes, implement advanced tools, and refine methodologies to enhance analytical accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis specific to development and real estate sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a comparable field is mandatory; possession of an MBA or another advanced qualification is preferred.
• At least 12 to 16 years of professional experience in financial analysis, focusing on development or real estate industries.
• Demonstrated mastery in financial modeling, feasibility evaluations, and investment appraisal techniques.
• Exceptional capability for analytical thinking and strategic interpretation of complex financial datasets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, enhancing collaboration, and delivering impactful results.
• Expertise in financial analysis tools and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
