Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven Associate Product Manager to aid in shaping, delivering, and improving global digital shopping experiences within the Selection product domain. This role focuses on enhancing customer product discovery through advanced browsing, search, merchandising, and personalization features, enabling shoppers to locate and assess products efficiently across Ralph Lauren’s digital channels. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders globally—including North America, EMEA, and APAC—to translate business and customer insights into practical, scalable product solutions. Ideal candidates are inquisitive, cooperative, detail-oriented, and data-savvy, thriving in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to defining and implementing the product roadmap centered on global product discovery and selection functionalities including browsing, search, merchandising, and personalization.
- Engage with business leaders and stakeholders worldwide to gather requirements, balance global versus local needs, and develop comprehensive product solutions.
- Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Design/UX, and Commercial teams throughout all stages from concept to release and subsequent iterations.
- Create concise user stories and acceptance criteria backed by comprehensive documentation to guide effective implementation.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring features are well-defined, refined, and aligned with strategic objectives and release schedules.
- Act as a liaison for assigned projects, regularly communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Use customer analytics and product performance data to evaluate success, identify enhancement opportunities, and inform future priorities.
- Build trust and alignment across a complex matrixed organization through collaboration and influencing skills.
- Assist with user acceptance testing, facilitate launch preparations, provide training, and contribute to operational readiness for new product capabilities.
- Continuously deepen understanding of Ralph Lauren’s customers, competitive environment, and digital platform to guide product improvement strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, eCommerce, Digital Product Management, or similar roles supporting customer-centric digital initiatives.
- Solid grasp of product development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, backlog management, and writing effective user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to drive informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, international setting.
- Proven success in developing strong cross-departmental relationships, managing ambiguity, adapting swiftly to changing requirements, and taking ownership.
- Intellectual curiosity coupled with a growth mindset and enthusiasm for understanding users and solving intricate business challenges.
- Experience utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Analytics, Figma, and AI-enhanced productivity applications.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams or working across international markets is advantageous.
