Dietary Aide - Full Time Days

About the Role

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Dublin, OH is looking for a full-time Dietary Aide to join its Dietary Services team. The position operates daytime hours from 6 AM to 2 PM and offers $15 per hour. This role is crucial to providing nutritious meals and excellent dining experiences to residents within a clean and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing meal trays and serving food adhering to residents' dietary needs.
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents promptly and with courtesy.
• Set up dining areas prior to meals and ensure cleanliness afterward.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen, serving, and storage areas clean and sanitary following safety protocols.
• Stock food supplies and dietary equipment as necessary.
• Support cooks and dietary staff with food preparation duties.
• Store food properly according to facility procedures to maintain freshness and safety.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with residents, their families, and staff members.
• Communicate any concerns about resident food consumption or dining conditions to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications & Physical Demands

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, dietary, restaurant, healthcare, or customer service roles preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a cooperative team-oriented mindset.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Physical capability to stand and walk for extended durations.
• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
