Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain production-grade AI-powered features and services with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.
• Integrate and manage large language model (LLM) workflows including prompt design and response validation, utilizing basic retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
• Build and enhance benchmarking and evaluation pipelines to measure AI output quality and system performance metrics.
• Monitor and improve application health, latency, throughput, and overall system efficiency.
• Debug and resolve production issues, participate in incident analysis, and implement fixes to ensure system stability.
• Support and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, platform, and AI teams to clarify requirements and enhance system design.
• Take ownership of features and modules end-to-end, participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing to build team expertise in AI-native application development.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong programming and debugging capabilities with hands-on experience in building and operating cloud-based microservices primarily in GoLang, C# (preferred), Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of APIs, distributed system fundamentals, and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with AI workflows, particularly prompt engineering, basic RAG techniques, and AI service integration into applications.
• Familiarity with observability tools including logging, metrics collection, tracing, as well as performance tuning and system monitoring.
• Ownership-driven mindset with experience in thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of live production systems.
