Role Overview
We are seeking a Designer to join our Sydney, NSW office on a full-time basis. This role requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop top-quality visual and interaction designs. Daily activities include transforming project demands and user insights into clear concepts, wireframes, and finalized visual materials for digital products, marketing campaigns, or brand collateral. The position also entails developing and updating design systems, preparing deliverables for development or production, and effectively communicating design proposals to stakeholders.
The Designer will engage in feedback cycles, refine designs accordingly, maintain alignment with brand standards and project goals, keep design documents organized, and contribute innovations to enhance processes and overall user experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating compelling visual and interaction designs applicable to digital and print formats, covering layouts, typography, and imagery.
- Experience using standard design software such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Cloud, along with expertise in asset preparation for development or production.
- Strong conceptual thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and ability to translate business and user needs into effective design solutions.
- Capability to work collaboratively with product, marketing, and engineering teams, and to articulate design rationale to varied stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and competence in handling multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles, UX workflows, prototyping, and usability considerations.
- Relevant prior design experience coupled with a portfolio showcasing recent projects; formal education in design or related disciplines is beneficial but not compulsory.
- Willingness to work onsite in Sydney, NSW, and actively participate in in-person workshops, design reviews, and team events.
