This position emphasizes driving sales and customer engagement through program promotion, lead utilization, and maintaining active presence on the sales floor. Designers are responsible for customer outreach, creation of design packages aligned with brand standards, and prompt follow-up routines. Maintaining high standards in product presentation and efficient use of tools supports operational excellence, while collaboration with store and design teams advances overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Enhance sales and deliver a unique customer experience by engaging in-depth with clients, offering upscale design services in store, at home, and virtually.
• Produce sophisticated designs using preferred digital tools including moodboards, 2D and 3D floor plans, product listings, and customer presentations.
• Conduct design consultations through various channels: face-to-face in-store or at home, as well as email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Complete projects within agreed timelines to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain a clear understanding of brand aesthetics and merchandising strategies across multiple platforms such as store, e-commerce, and catalog.
• Stay informed about product details including features, care instructions, and industry trends alongside competitor analysis.
• Meet and exceed personal sales targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and service standards while actively engaging customers on the sales floor using effective selling techniques.
• Listen attentively to customers to identify optimal product solutions and communicate information about loyalty programs including designer rewards, trade programs, and credit card offers.
• Demonstrate positive attitude and enthusiasm, delivering gracious, prompt, and efficient customer service consistently.
• Assist in training and educating store staff on design services to clarify offerings and enhance customer understanding.
• Build and nurture lasting relationships through networking and personalized clienteling approaches.
• Apply foundational design knowledge encompassing spatial planning, fabric and lighting selection, and various interior design styles.
• Communicate effectively and timely to translate the brand's vision as well as customers' preferences into actionable design plans.
• Exhibit strong comfort with technology, including 2D/3D design tools, Google suite, video conferencing, and iPad proficiency, alongside floor planning skills.
• Remain current on evolving design trends and be adaptable to changes as business needs evolve.

Candidate Profile

• Solid grasp of essential design principles such as spatial arrangement, fabric choices, lighting, and interior styles.
• Excellent communication skills capable of articulating the brand identity and aligning with customer needs.
• Technology savvy, particularly with 2D and 3D design applications, Google platforms, virtual communication tools, and proficient floor planning capabilities.
• Continuously updated knowledge of contemporary design trends.
• Proven ability to establish enduring customer relationships.
• 1 or more years of experience in furniture sales, home decor design, retail, or customer service sectors.
• Experience in working one-on-one with clients providing tailored recommendations.
• Familiarity with Google platforms and virtual communication; prior experience with design tools is preferred.
