Role Overview
Join a small but growing team with diverse backgrounds where each member brings specific skills and experiences. The company offers flat hierarchies and opportunities for growth alongside production and design teams. This role is for a Design Assistant to support the expanding needs of the label on a fixed-term basis of two years, available immediately in Hamburg.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop tech packs for production.
- Engage in trend research and concept creation for new collections.
- Take an active role throughout design processes from research and sketches to final products.
- Participate and assist in fitting sessions, providing constructive feedback.
- Support the design and production teams in overall collection development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in fashion design.
- Initial professional work experience.
- Proven skills in hand sketching and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Advanced knowledge of standard Adobe software programs.
- Good grasp of proportions, shapes, colors, and materials.
- Strong conceptual and creative abilities.
- Interest in and understanding of current trends and inspirations.
- Team-oriented with effective communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English proficiency.
- Quick learner with structured working methods.
- Hands-on approach and high resilience with a sense of personal responsibility.
