About the Role
Delivery Drivers are integral to the success of GSF Car Parts, representing our brand by delivering automotive parts to customers while maintaining outstanding customer service. This role is key to providing valuable customer feedback and ensuring on-time delivery within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
Primary Responsibilities
- Transport products efficiently to customers' locations within a 40-mile range of the branch.
- Maintain consistently high customer service standards throughout deliveries.
- Provide the branch with insights on customer interactions and competitor activities.
- Load the delivery vehicle in accordance with established procedures.
- Collect product returns from customers when necessary.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and upkeep to ensure safety and reliability.
- Offer assistance in the warehouse as needed.
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries when required.
Working Schedule
Average 41 weekly hours from Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Possess at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Have excellent knowledge of the geographical area within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Demonstrated prior experience in a delivery driving position.
- Appreciate the importance of maintaining high customer service standards.
- Capable of meeting deadlines with punctuality and strong time management skills.
- Customer-oriented, motivated, and willing to go beyond expectations.
