This position is for a delivery driver at Domino’s in Sarasota, Florida. Pay is hourly, with additional earnings from tips and mileage.

What you’ll do

• Deliver orders within the assigned area while following safe driving practices and company standards.
• Handle general store tasks as needed, including operating equipment, preparing products, taking inventory, and completing paperwork.
• Receive phone orders and help process customer requests accurately.
• Keep equipment and the store area clean and organized on a regular basis.
• Use maps, directions, and delivery-area knowledge to find addresses efficiently, including locations in multi-story buildings and other challenging routes.
• Work with customers and teammates by phone and in person in a clear and professional way.

Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean/safe driving record that meets company expectations is required.
• You need a current vehicle registration and insurance, and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
• Strong navigation skills are important, including the ability to read a map and locate addresses in the delivery zone.
• You should be comfortable working in varied conditions, including weather changes, hot and cold areas, tight spaces, and other physically active work settings.
• The job calls for basic math accuracy, correct cash handling, and the ability to make change.
• You must be able to follow written instructions and communicate effectively by phone, verbally, and in writing.
• Training is provided on the job through orientation and initial instruction.

Working conditions and physical demands

This role involves standing for most tasks, short-distance walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling loaded trays, and infrequent stair or ladder use. Work areas may include temperatures from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or higher in some areas, along with exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, sharp tools, hot surfaces up to 500 degrees or more, and moving mechanical parts.
