Position Overview
Kastech Software Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Data Analyst/Engineer based in Sunnyvale, CA, with a strong background ideally from Apple and 9 to 12 years of professional experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and improve comprehensive reporting, dashboard, and analytics platforms.
- Develop and maintain data solutions using Snowflake, SQL, Tableau, DBT, and cloud services such as AWS.
- Support and collaborate with diverse business units to meet their data and reporting requirements.
- Manage projects and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and presentation skills.
Required Competencies
- Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, Tableau, DBT, and AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools such as Agentic AI and DataRobot, contributing to data-driven insights and automation.
- Experience with reporting and analytics platforms, notably ThoughtSpot and data visualization methodologies.
- Technical skills including Python scripting and proficiency with Excel and Numbers for data manipulation.
- Use of collaboration tools like Quip, Keynote, Miro, and Slack to coordinate within teams.
Preferred Background and Other Details
- Previous employment at Apple is required.
- Experience split focusing roughly 70–80% on SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, ETL, and DBT technologies, with 20–30% exposure to AI/ML related initiatives.
Additional Requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively present complex analytics insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes.
