Data Analyst

About the Role

The position of Data Analyst is available on a contract basis at Themesoft Inc., located onsite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role focuses on supporting Data as a Service (DaaS) and Wealth Data product projects by gathering and analyzing business and data requirements, documenting processes, and assisting in delivering data products.

Responsibilities

• Support initiatives related to Data as a Service and Wealth Data products by collecting and analyzing business and data specifications and preparing clear documentation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data teams, and technology partners to develop data-driven solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Conduct data analysis, prepare reports, document processes, and perform thorough testing and quality checks.
• Help implement and deliver dashboards, reports, and data insights to enhance business decision-making.
• Ensure that developed data solutions align accurately with business goals and promote informed choices.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience in gathering business requirements and conducting detailed data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to document processes clearly and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with dashboard creation and providing support for data products.
• Proficiency or working knowledge of SQL and data querying techniques is preferred.
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Prior exposure to the Wealth Management domain is an advantage.
