Customs Declaration Officer

Position Overview

The Customs Declaration Officer will be responsible for managing import and export clearance processes to optimize customs clearance efficiency and ensure compliance with the latest regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle clearance procedures for company imports and exports, aiming to expedite customs clearance timelines.
• Liaise and coordinate with customs authorities while keeping abreast of regulatory updates to minimize customs risks.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of all production-related materials, including their composition, use, and brand details.
• Maintain effective communication with purchase staff to monitor order placements and overseas shipments.
• Collaborate with freight agents and customs brokers to track shipment status and promptly address issues such as customs inspections or shipping delays.

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate degree or above, preferably in International Trade, Logistics Management, or relevant fields.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in customs declaration operations with strong understanding of applicable laws and policies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
