Job purpose
The role is focused on growing insurance business from the assigned team and orphan customer database through campaign-based activity. It also involves providing complete pre-sales and post-sales support to clients while guiding the team, with the aim of not only meeting targets but also delivering steady quarterly business growth.
Role context and key challenges
This position requires driving a service-to-sales mindset for orphan customers and using a differentiated, segmented approach across campaigns. The role also has to deal with challenges such as sales-force attrition and the limited availability of high-quality talent.
Key result areas
Implementation of loyalty model
- Build and maintain relationships with orphan customers.
- Use campaigns to cross-sell and up-sell to the assigned customer base.
- Support renewal collection and protect AUM from the assigned portfolio.
Achievement of premium and NOP targets
- Allocate leads to team members according to the targets set.
- Track performance regularly across topline and health metrics.
- Coach the team on sales steps, lead conversion, and closing deals.
- Drive all recognition and reward initiatives being run by the organisation.
Right person in the right role
- Assess team strengths and assign responsibilities accordingly.
- Evaluate each business unit’s opportunity and distribute targets appropriately.
Right business acquisition approach
- Review business performance regularly and share relevant updates with senior management.
- Meet persistency norms so renewals happen on schedule.

Recruitment and training
- Hire team members in line with time-based requirements.
