Role Summary
The position of Cotech located in Madurai South is a full-time onsite role centered on delivering expert technical assistance concerning vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. Key responsibilities include diagnosing intricate mechanical and electronic vehicle faults, mentoring service technicians, and assuring that repair work aligns with Renault's quality and safety protocols. The role entails reviewing technical documents, utilizing diagnostic software and devices, and liaising with service advisors to convey complex technical information and repair strategies effectively. Additional duties involve maintaining precise service documentation, aiding in the training of workshop personnel, and advancing service workflows and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems such as engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and electronic control units.
- Experience with diagnostic instruments, software, and service literature necessary to troubleshoot and correct complex vehicle problems.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical details clearly to technicians, service teams, and customers.
- Excellent analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong dedication to safety and quality standards.
- Technical diploma or degree in automobile engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in an automotive workshop or dealership, preferably in a technical expert capacity.
- Capacity to function effectively in a dynamic workshop environment and handle simultaneous service assignments efficiently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional training to remain updated with Renault’s technological advancements and procedures.
