About the Role
Join AECOM, a global leader in infrastructure consulting, as a Contracts Coordinator based in Dublin. You will be part of a dynamic team that delivers impactful projects worldwide across various sectors such as transportation, water, energy, and the built environment. This role involves hybrid working with three days on-site and two days remote weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure contract administration activities align with Contract Management standards and comply with contractual terms, reporting any deviations to the Contract Manager.
- Implement contract management strategies as agreed and monitor compliance.
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to manage contractor and consultant performance effectively.
- Develop target KPIs within Incentive Schedules for NEC contracts and evaluate contractor achievements accordingly.
- Conduct performance evaluations for contractors and consultants, creating improvement plans when necessary.
- Provide expert advice to Project or Service Managers on contract issues including compensation events, early warnings, and payment assessments.
- Draft communications and instructions on behalf of managers, ensuring timely and contract-compliant responses to contractors and consultants.
- Coordinate with Cost Managers and Schedulers regarding quotation acceptances, compensation event assessments, and programme approvals.
- Maintain the early warning register and administer the early warning process.
- Obtain necessary approvals from Project Managers before issuing communications and operate within delegated authority limits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing contract administration with the NEC suite of contracts.
- Proven expertise in monitoring contractor and consultant performance and claims management.
- Skilled in setting KPIs and developing Incentive Schedules associated with contractor and consultant engagements.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contract administration processes.
