Position Overview
Join KPMG Canada as a Contract Specialist within the Contingent Labour Office (CLO). The CLO is dedicated to efficiently partnering with business units to manage and engage external resources while balancing commercial requirements and firm risk. This role supports over 1000 external resource engagements yearly, ranging from individuals to large organizations, by enhancing internal workflows, documentation, and technology tools to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to Hiring Managers on external resource engagement processes to meet project requirements.
- Utilize and optimize technology platforms to improve CLO process efficiency and resource management.
- Lead and participate in initiatives aimed at process enhancement and documentation updates.
- Facilitate intake meetings and provide training on vendor management systems.
- Execute due diligence activities including background and business verification checks.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, managing stakeholder communication and case progress effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Manage inquiries and triage related to CLO functions promptly.
- Support change management by updating standard operating procedures, templates, and knowledge base articles as needed.
- Educate and train various internal stakeholders including Procurement, HR, and offshore teams on changes and best practices.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of experience in case management, ideally within contingent workforce or staffing environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder interactions.
- Attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and organizational skills to handle high volumes of complex work efficiently.
- Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational innovation.
- Comfortable working with multiple technologies and vendor management systems; familiarity with Flextrack, Beeline, and ServiceNow is beneficial.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- College or university degree in a relevant discipline.

- This position allows for virtual work throughout Canada with occasional monthly attendance onsite for meetings.
- Salary ranges from $55,000 to $82,000 annually based on location, qualifications, and experience, with eligibility for bonuses.
