Role Overview

The Construction Specialist, acting as a Project Manager, is tasked with the comprehensive planning, execution, and supervision of various projects in consulting, ICT, facility management, emergency communications, and infrastructure sectors. This position is full-time and based on-site in Abuja.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope while mitigating risks and resolving issues.
  • Develop and maintain thorough project documentation and reports for stakeholder communication.
  • Engage directly with clients and internal groups to clarify requirements and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Support strategic initiatives and process improvements to enhance project delivery and organizational objectives.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant regulatory standards and organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in project management disciplines such as planning, scheduling, scope and risk management.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and fundamental financial analysis relevant to projects.
  • Competent in process improvements, documentation, and project management software utilization.
  • Familiarity with ICT, infrastructure, and facility management sectors; consulting or emergency communication experience is advantageous.
  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or related fields is required; professional certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
  • Ability to perform duties on-site in Abuja and handle multiple concurrent projects.
