With an expanding portfolio including data centres and commercial sites, the company manages multiple locations and participates in large-scale construction efforts across the European region.
Role Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Construction Recruiter to manage the recruitment and onboarding of both blue-collar workers and white-collar staff as needed throughout Ireland and Europe. The role emphasizes fulfilling labour demands while ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates from initial engagement to site mobilisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment cycle for blue-collar and white-collar roles in Ireland and Europe.
- Expand and nurture direct candidate networks, especially focusing on Romania and other vital labour markets.
- Establish and maintain strong connections with candidates, referrals, and industry professionals to reduce dependency on third-party recruitment agencies.
- Identify, assess, and interview suitable candidates for open positions.
- Collaborate with Commercial teams, Site Managers, and Operations Manager to align with workforce needs and project timelines.
- Arrange job offers and coordinate candidate start dates.
- Facilitate onboarding processes ensuring completion of all necessary documentation before commencement.
- Organize travel and mobilisation logistics if required.
- Work in partnership with HR to handle contract preparation, registrations, badges, and payroll records.
- Maintain recruitment data and candidate databases systematically.
- Develop talent pipelines to meet future project demands.
- Track recruitment activities and provide regular updates.
- Advocate for KM Lynskey as an attractive employer within the construction sector.
- Travel across Europe as necessary to support recruitment activities, onboarding, and business objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- At least three years of experience in recruitment.
- Proven track record recruiting blue-collar or construction personnel.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns.
- Strong skills in organisation and communication.
- Familiarity working with recruitment agencies or international candidate pools.
- Romanian language proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple recruitment projects in a fast-moving environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The total annual compensation ranges from 55,000 to 65,000, with a performance-driven bonus contingent on successful hires, dependent on experience. Additional benefits include pension, Employee Assistance Program, and a company day.
