Job Overview
We are seeking a Commis Chef skilled in Continental cuisine to join our kitchen team in Chandigarh. The role requires ensuring full adherence to health and safety standards in the kitchen and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of menus and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the kitchen with cooking utensils and necessary equipment prior to service.
- Efficiently cook dishes within designated timelines.
- Study recipes carefully and procure all required ingredients.
- Communicate any shortages of food supplies promptly to managers and front-of-house staff, ensuring customers are informed before ordering.
- Oversee and support fellow cooks as needed during service.
- Make minor adjustments to recipes to accommodate special dietary needs such as no dairy or nut exclusions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of 10th or 12th grade education.
- 1 to 3 years of experience working in Continental cuisine.

- Rotational shift schedule applies.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging between INR 15,000 and 18,000, along with incentives.
