Commercial Project Manager

Overview

The Commercial Project Manager will collaborate with a diverse team spanning local, regional, and global levels to oversee projects from sales handover to warranty phase. The role focuses on maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and enhancing project results, contributing to client satisfaction and Siemens Energy's commitment to sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project work breakdown structures and create sales orders within SAP ERP.
• Maintain precise and compliant project financial records and coordinate project reporting tasks.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams worldwide to meet financial goals and improve profitability.
• Identify and handle local commercial risks and chances, devising appropriate strategies.
• Manage local commercial aspects such as tax, insurance, and contract negotiation, ensuring global alignment.
• Prepare and engage in project review meetings, maintaining responsibility for audits and compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting with 3 to 5 years' experience in a multicultural setting.
• Commercial Project Management certification or professional accounting qualification is advantageous.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and skill in coordinating local commercial functions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with varied stakeholders.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and IT tools including Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Enthusiastic attitude toward digitalization and automation to enhance efficiency.

This position is part of the Gas Services division, which provides low-emission power generation solutions through services and decarbonization efforts, including turbines and generators modernization and digitalization.
