About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Operations & Analytics Project Manager for a six-month contract role, operating remotely within the U.S. This full-time position (40 hours per week) supports a critical commercial readiness initiative in the life sciences sector. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technology teams to spearhead key commercial operations, analytics, and data projects related to an impending product launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive project planning including setting milestones, timelines, dependencies, and managing critical paths.
- Lead governance efforts by facilitating regular leadership and stakeholder meetings.
- Maintain detailed RAIDD logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions) to track accountability and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare weekly executive-level status reports highlighting RAG status, key risks, issues, decisions, and overall progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage dependencies proactively, escalating issues as necessary.
- Support launch readiness efforts by evaluating organizational preparedness and defining priority workstreams.
- Help delineate the scope between Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and post-launch enhancements.
- Align efforts across commercial operations, analytics, data, and business stakeholders to ensure cohesive initiative execution.

Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in project or program management.
- Demonstrated background in supporting commercial operations or analytics projects within biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences settings.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Expertise in project planning, governance, risk management, and executive communication.
- Hands-on experience with commercial product launches or readiness initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.
- Capability to quickly integrate and contribute in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience within biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience engaging with commercial data systems, CRM tools, sales operations, or analytics teams.
- Familiarity with launch planning frameworks and commercialization procedures.
