Overview
We seek a skilled CNC Turning Machine Setter with at least three years of direct experience in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up CNC Turning machines independently and adept at reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings.
Key Duties
- Set up CNC Turning machines independently to begin production runs.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints accurately.
- Choose appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and work-holding fixtures for each task.
- Load CNC programs and conduct first-piece inspections utilizing precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Make offset adjustments related to tool wear and geometry to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Identify and resolve minor machining issues to sustain production flow and meet targets.
Qualifications & Work Conditions
- Minimum three years of hands-on experience as a CNC Turning Machine Setter.
- Experience working with Fanuc CNC control systems.
- Willingness to work in various shifts to support continuous production.
- While ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is favored, highly skilled candidates without formal qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration for this role ranges from 20000 to 37000 INR based on experience and skills.
Location
This position is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India and requires onsite presence.
