About the Role
This permanent, full-time cleaning position is based at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset (TA5 1UD), with a work schedule of 39 hours per week on an alternating shift system. The hourly pay rate is £16.02. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment to support critical government, hospital, and school facilities. The position includes travel benefits and a range of employee perks.
Working Hours
- Early Shift: Monday to Thursday from 05:30 to 14:00; Friday from 05:30 to 13:00
- Late Shift: Monday to Thursday from 13:30 to 22:00; Friday from 12:30 to 20:00
- Every fourth weekend on a rotating basis: Saturday 08:00 to 17:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 16:00
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of cleanliness using a Flow Cleaning approach across the HPC site.
- Perform a variety of cleaning duties efficiently and effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Good command of English to understand instructions and communicate clearly with team members.
- Demonstrable reliability and flexibility in work hours and duties.
- Commitment to punctuality and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience carrying out diverse cleaning tasks.
