About The Property

Dar Tantora, The House Hotel, is an earth-built heritage site located in AlUla's Old Town, Saudi Arabia. It features a network of mud-brick buildings and a prominent watchtower fort, offering guests a unique heritage experience. Nearby, the Cloud 7 Residence provides a tranquil retreat close to the city centre. The property comprises 30 guest rooms, two food & beverage outlets including a cigar lounge, spa facilities, and custom retail stores. This eco-friendly sanctuary prioritizes low environmental impact and heritage preservation, offering activities and workshops that highlight the historical significance of the destination.

Role Overview

• Welcome guests warmly upon entry and assist in choosing cigars tailored to their tastes.
• Advise customers on cigar options, including flavor, strength, and beverage pairings.
• Help guests with cigar cutting and lighting, ensuring correct techniques and tool usage.
• Maintain the humidor fully stocked and aid customers in selecting cigars for purchase.
• Take beverage and food orders and deliver items promptly and attentively.
• Prepare and serve drinks such as mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.
• Observe guest satisfaction and quickly address any issues to ensure a positive atmosphere.
• Keep the lounge, seating areas, and cigar displays clean and well-organized.
• Follow health and safety policies, particularly concerning cigar handling and smoking regulations.
• Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth lounge operations and outstanding service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience, ideally in a cigar lounge or a related environment.
• Sound knowledge of premium cigars, including various brands, types, and storage standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver personalized service that creates memorable guest experiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to superior service quality.
• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must be of legal smoking age and comfortable operating in a smoking setting.
