Position Overview
An established UAE industrial and services conglomerate is searching for a seasoned Chief Strategy Officer based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This senior executive role, reporting directly to the CEO and Chairman, is responsible for spearheading the organization's long-term strategic growth. The CSO will oversee comprehensive enterprise transformations, foster strategic alliances, manage mergers and acquisitions, execute divestitures, and develop new business ventures within sectors such as manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, and industrial services.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Lead the implementation of corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive transformational initiatives and oversee strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
- Manage mergers and acquisitions as well as divestments to optimize business portfolio.
- Engage closely with executive leadership teams and government stakeholders to facilitate negotiations and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess over 20 years of executive leadership, with at least a decade of direct experience in strategic roles. Holding an MBA, an accounting degree, or an equivalent professional certification is mandatory. Demonstrated commercial insight and robust negotiation abilities are essential to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
