About the Firm
A well-established law firm with multiple offices is looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer in Chicago, Illinois. The firm has expanded to a level that requires dedicated executive leadership to enhance operational management and provide more structure and support to the leadership team.
Role Overview
The Chief Operating Officer will collaborate closely with the firm's leadership to oversee everyday management and guide the operational strategy of the business. The role is designed to strengthen the management framework, enhance coordination across departments, and support ongoing growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the firm
- Partner with senior leadership to focus on operational priorities
- Assess and optimize internal processes and systems
- Lead the administrative functions within the firm

Candidate Profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in operations or administration
- Background in law firms or similar professional-services organizations preferred

- Strong commercial, financial, and organizational expertise
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to lead operational improvements and influence strategic decisions
