Role Overview
The Chemist position requires full-time presence at the Dammam facility. The core responsibilities include performing both standard and specialized laboratory tests, preparing chemical reagents, and managing analytical instruments to aid production, quality assurance, and research endeavors. Daily tasks encompass executing experiments per defined procedures, recording observations, preserving meticulous documentation, and adhering to safety and regulatory criteria.
Key Duties
- Conduct chemical analyses following established protocols.
- Document and maintain precise records of test results.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and chemical handling regulations.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Manage sample intake and processing effectively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Contribute actively to research, development, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduation from a recognized Chemical institute with a Chemical Graduate certificate is mandatory.
- Prior experience in roles such as Sales, Human Resources, or General Registration Office (GRO) is required.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety standards, chemical handling procedures, and meticulous documentation is essential.
- Strong communication abilities and capability to work effectively as part of an on-site laboratory team.
- Previous experience in chemical industry settings will be considered a plus.
