Sristy Infotech is currently seeking a skilled CCTV Installation Technician to join their team based in Patna, Bihar. This full-time, day-shift role requires working primarily at customer sites to manage CCTV system installations and maintenance.
Job Summary
The technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV surveillance equipment including cameras and recording devices. The role involves direct interaction with customers on-site and requires adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and commission CCTV surveillance systems accurately.
- Mount cameras and handle structured cabling tasks.
- Install and configure DVR, NVR, and IP camera systems.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs to ensure the optimal functionality of CCTV devices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to IP and analog CCTV hardware and software.
- Test systems post-installation to confirm operational standards.
- Visit customer locations for installations, maintenance, and technical support visits.
- Communicate and coordinate with customers to address technical challenges promptly.
- Observe safety standards rigorously while working on-site.
- Document all service activities and installation logs adequately.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational qualification is completion of 12th grade.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in CCTV installation and maintenance is required.
- Basic ability to communicate in English.
- Willingness to undertake travel for field service duties.
- Technical knowledge and experience with surveillance systems preferred.
Skills Required
- Proficient in CCTV installation techniques.
- Skilled in maintenance and repair of CCTV systems.
- Experience with DVR and NVR setup and configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot both IP and analog CCTV equipment.
- Competence in cable routing and camera mounting.
