Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently complete all purchase transactions, including deactivating items according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Encourage customers to participate in company programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Help customers by bagging and loading their purchases as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Preserve register security by practicing careful cash handling, following company policies, and staying alert to surroundings.
• Redirect relevant service requests or transactional matters to the Customer Service Manager when appropriate.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.15 CAD. (Le taux horaire minimum pour ce poste débute à 16.15.)

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
