Case Manager

About the Role

Located in Worthington, OH, Bulldog Trial Lawyers is a plaintiff-focused employment law firm supported by Corgi, which manages the firm's operational services including technology, recruiting, finance, and infrastructure. Attorneys concentrate fully on client representation, while Corgi manages crucial business functions.

We seek a dedicated Case Manager to act as the main liaison between clients and the firm from initial contact until case closure. This position is ideal for individuals who excel at client interaction, multitasking, and maintaining organization amid dynamic and simultaneous case demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact throughout all stages of their legal case.
• Conduct intake interviews and collect necessary documents.
• Keep clients regularly informed about case developments.
• Gather various records including employment, payroll, personnel, and medical documents as evidence.
• Manage signature collections, documentation requests, and authorizations efficiently.
• Ensure deadlines are monitored and all required information is submitted promptly.
• Prepare detailed case summaries and organize files for attorney review.
• Coordinate with external experts, vendors, and opposing counsel as required.
• Diligently update case management systems with thorough notes and documentation.
• Identify and escalate legal matters to attorneys and paralegals while independently managing administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in case management, legal assistance, customer success, claims, or client services.
• Prior experience in a law firm setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exceptional organizational skills coupled with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple client cases concurrently.
• Adaptability and efficiency within a fast-paced, growing environment.
• Proficient computer skills with capability to quickly learn new software tools.

Compensation

The salary for this role is flexible and will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
